DBClump |
DBClump is an MS Access database management system
allowing to record volume fractions of fuel families within each
clump of trees or shrubs selected in the FireStar catalogue. A cellular
automata Cormas will use these data to obtain a satisfactory average
representation of a fuel-break vegetation profile. |

CORMAS |
Cormas is a cellular automata allowing to run
the "Segment" model. This one creates a vegetation vertical
profile (x, z) based on descriptive data collected on elementary
field squares. The vegetation itself is described thanks to data
stored in DBClump.

DBParticles ONLINE is an online MySQL database
and management system allowing to record data from wildland fuel
particle measurements like the kind of vegetation, the surface to
volume ratio, the mass to volume ratio, the high calorific value
or the specific heat. As it's an online system, it could be accessed
and updated by many users at once. It gathers the latest available
information about particles. |
